The incident happened on Wednesday afternoon, July 19, when a 13-foot-tall tractor-trailer traveling on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Pleasantville slammed into an 8-foot 8-inch tall bridge at Bedford Road, according to Westchester County Police.

The crash caused the parkway to briefly close before the left lane was reopened, allowing traffic to slowly pass.

Both northbound lanes have now since been reopened, police said.
